100 Years United and Uniting

The United Church of Canada is the largest Protestant denomination in Canada.

Since its inception, the church has been the first for many milestones as the first mainstream church in Canada to ordain women and 2SLGBTQIA+ peoples. We are committed to reconciliation and Indigenous justice and to becoming an anti-racist church.

Call and Vision Logo

Deep Spirituality

Is the heart of our identity, not just as a church but also as individuals.

Bold Discipleship

Is living the call to love our neighbours no matter the cost.

Daring Justice

Is the commitment to join others in changing the world.

A Place to Seek Justice

We act for peace, justice, and care for Creation. We believe that we strengthen one another to work, through God's grace, for a better world. To this end, we join with other churches, faith traditions, and people of goodwill to eliminate poverty and injustice, addressing its root causes and protecting the vulnerable.

A Place at the Table

We believe a place at the table is transformative. It is more than a gesture of welcome—it is a place of belonging, a table that shifts and grows richer in texture and meaning as each new person gathers around it.
